Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies are used on the website at prosecure.com.tr, for what purpose and for how long, and how you can manage your preferences.
01Data controller and scope
This website is operated by Prosecure Danışmanlık A.Ş. (“Prosecure”, “we”). Prosecure is the data controller for personal data processed through cookies under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). Where you visit the site from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR apply in addition, as set out in section 09.
The policy applies regardless of the device or browser you use. For the general principles governing our processing of personal data, see the Privacy Notice on the Privacy, Cookie and Data Protection Policies page. The Know Your Employee™ platform is subject to its own terms and privacy notice.
If you are under 18, please use the site only with a parent or guardian and do not share personal data.
02What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed in your browser by a website you visit and stored on your device. Cookies keep your session secure, remember your preferences and help us understand how the site is used. In this policy, “cookie” also covers similar technologies such as local storage and pixels.
By duration, session cookies are deleted when you close the browser, while persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. By origin, first-party cookies are set by Prosecure directly and third-party cookies are set by service providers such as Google or Meta.
03Cookie categories and legal basis
Four categories of cookies are used on the site. Everything other than necessary cookies remains switched off until you give consent through the cookie panel.

04Cookies in use
The list below shows the cookies used on the site as of the effective date. Lifetimes of third-party cookies are set by the provider and may change.
Google Tag Manager is used for tag management and does not set cookies itself; it only fires tags belonging to the categories you have consented to.
05Third parties and international transfers
Analytics and marketing cookies are provided by Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc., Hotjar Ltd. and LinkedIn Corporation. Their servers may be located outside Türkiye (mainly in the United States and the European Union). If you consent to the relevant category, your IP address, device and browsing information may be transferred abroad under KVKK Art. 9 and, for EEA/UK visitors, under GDPR Chapter V on the basis of the provider’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. No such transfer takes place unless you consent.
Provider policies: Google, Meta, Hotjar, LinkedIn.
Embedded content such as LinkedIn or YouTube is not loaded until you consent to the relevant category. Once loaded, the content is served directly from the provider, which may set its own cookies.
06How to manage your preferences
Cookie panel. The panel shown on your first visit lets you select categories individually, accept all or reject all. You can change your decision at any time from the Cookie settings button in the corner of the page or the Manage my cookie preferences link above. When you switch a category off, its first-party cookies are removed from your device and the related tags are no longer executed.
Browser settings. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking necessary cookies may stop some features, such as the contact form, from working.
Provider-level opt-out. Use the browser add-on for Google Analytics, Ads Settings for Google advertising, and Hotjar’s Do Not Track page.
07Retention
Cookies remain on your device for the periods listed in the table above. The record of your cookie choice (date, version and selected categories) is kept for 180 days; after that, or when the policy is updated, you will be asked again. Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months according to the provider’s retention settings and is then converted into aggregate statistics.
08Your rights under KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may apply to Prosecure to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it,
- learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
- know the third parties to whom the data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
- request rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data,
- request erasure or destruction of the data under Article 7,
- request that rectification, erasure or destruction be notified to third-party recipients,
- object to a result that arises against you from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems,
- claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
Submit your request using the Data Subject Application Form to the contact details below; requests are answered within 30 days at the latest. You may withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie panel; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
09Visitors from the EEA and the United Kingdom
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under Articles 15–21 of the GDPR / UK GDPR, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Consent-based cookies are set only after you opt in, in line with Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in your country. You can exercise these rights through the same contact details below.
10Changes to this policy
This policy is updated as the cookies we use or the applicable law change. The current version and effective date appear at the top of the page; where a change affects the scope of your consent, the cookie panel is shown again and your consent is requested anew.
